SWWFOREVER

Update 5/31/05
March 2001. Wrestlemania XVII. This event inspired me to do something I Love & pursue my hopes & dreams in life. It wasn't an easy task, but I didn't let money or lack of knowledge stop me. Quite simply, I lived & learned, prolly did stuff the hard way & made many mistakes along the way. I had made a lot of friends during this time, met some people I was happy to meet, some not so happy, but the experiences were worth it all & I thank anyone for the time & help nonetheless. I'm not perfect, nor is anyone else, I did stuff for the best of the company & always tried to do right by the business. The opportunity I created here in what is called the SWWF was created by the sole finances of one man, but built up by not only my love & passion, but the passion & love of many others, family, friends & strangers I'd call friends, confidants & "The Boys". The SWWF became a family. And like all families it had it's squabbles, it's fights, but the love and support was always there. When some left, or moved on or married into other ventures, the patriarch was always here, rebuilding, & restructuring. There are some that I am forever indebted to because of the sacrifices they made for this company & the dream. This would not have been possible without some of those people who made those initial sacrifices.
There are some that quite simply stepped up when the time was there & they carried the ball. Everyone that ever participated or helped in ANY SWWF event, quite simply... THANK YOU, I appreciate your hard work & efforts, your passion, your love & determination.

The SWWF is closing it's doors. Suspending operations for the time being, possibly forever but I am quite confidant in the boys & girls that I still dedicate ring time to, that they will go as far as their hearts will let them in this business & I know that potential is unlimited. If they do right by the business, show respect to every single person that sticks or stuck his neck out, shed blood, sweat & tears for this great sport, wrestling. Wrestling has saved my life on NUMEROUS occasions. It had been my friend, when I had no one. It helped me stay alive. It was there when I was down & helped create moments that will be etched in my life forever.

For any fan that attended a SWWF event or supported the SWWF in ANY fashion, THANK YOU. It was our desire to give you 100% each & every time out, that kept our shows going & even when we were at our greenest, that dedication to give you the best show possible kept us from being a total disaster. I am proud of the progress EVERYONE made here, disappointed we didn't get that last chance to go out & try a weekly live show, but things happen for a reason. The fans kept us going & the love of performing for the fans & feeling that rush made us give all of what we had to give you those special moments right back.

The SWWF was a business venture that may not have been the smartest move financially, maybe I had no business starting this because of having no ties to the business before starting this, & the inherent danger of injury looming, but by damn, I believed in myself, the vision of creating a fun & happy sports entertainment here in the valley. I came to believe in a lot people because they earned that by their blood, sweat & tears. Many didn't believe we stood a chance. Even my own family thought I was crazy. BUt from my family & friends I got nothing but love & support. And I thank each every one of them who was there for me & the SWWF from the start. THANK YOU, you know who you are & I Love ya.

To keep this from being a sappy end, I want to end this by saying, It was a fun ride, many ups & downs, good times, bad times, happy times, sad times. But from the bottom of my heart, I regret nothing. There are many to thank, but those names are on COUNTDOWN to RAMPAGE, READ the credits or slow them & you'll see, I don't leave people out. And for those that came after, thank you, too. For anyone that has stepped foot in this ring, they definitely have a newfound respect for wrestling, I made sure of it, the RING made sure of it. For the many people who busted there ass in & out of this ring, THANK YOU & you are forever a part of the SWWF, it's history & in the hearts of the fans & the lifeblood who have made up this fine company.

I am sad to close these doors, possibly for the final time, but I leave a small window open. Or if nothing else, while I am still here & able to, a tribute & memorial of the SWWF in the form of this website. The history is all here for those to see & enjoy. Take a trip down memory lane & relive good times or for some to experience them for the first time. SOmewhere down the line, I hope to collect the events or specials or Rampage shows for those interested, check back once in a while. Or if you want to leave your favorite memories of the SWWF, Start a thread & please share them with me & everyone. This is still FOR THE FANS & dedicated to all of you that spent your time, money or put your support behind this company. THANK YOU to everyone, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. All I tried to do was do something I loved, share my talents & ideas with all of you & give a platform for others to help & enjoy the experience too. I wanted to entertain & always gave 100% for the fans. I expected no less from myself or anyone else involved with the SWWF. Thank you to everyone, fans, wrestlers, sponsors, helpers, referees, announcers, website contributors, ANY ONE who ever put in time or efforts to help us in ANY FASHION. THANK YOU & GOD BLESS. The SWWF lives on in the hearts of everyone who experienced it in one way, shape, form or fashion. And if we truly touched & made a difference in someone's life, that means the world to me. I know I am thankful for the opportunity & feel truly blessed to have been able to follow a dream & live it out & do something I Loved. I hope everyone involved past or present feels the same.
